Students have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the Spring 2017 semester.

Elizabethtown (Pa.) College announced the names of students whose outstanding academic performances have earned them the recognition of being included on the spring 2017 dean's list. Students on the dean's list are full-time undergraduate students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.

At the 185th Commencement Ceremony on May 28, Wesleyan awarded 763 BA degrees.

Coastal Carolina University has announced that 745 students made the President's honor list for high academic achievement for the 2017 Spring Semester. To qualify for the President's List for high academic achievement, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average and must be enrolled full time.

At 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20, graduates in the Class of 2017 took center stage for Elizabethtown College's 114th Commencement. Lynn Pasquerella, president of the Association of American Colleges and Universities, spoke.

Awards and scholarships were presented to 85 exceptional students in Youngstown State University's College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at the college's spring honors convocation.

Elizabethtown College Emergent Scholars were honored at a special luncheon Sunday, March 12, 2017. Emergent Scholars have attained at least a 3.75 cumulative grade point average at the end of their first three semesters. Qualified students are full-time and have not previously attended another college or university for full-time study and have earned at least 42 credits in three consecutive semesters as a student at Elizabethtown College or one of its affiliated programs.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least 3 course credits during the fall 2016 semester earn the Dean's Award with Distinction.

Youngstown State University has inducted 65 outstanding students into its Golden Key International Honor Society. Golden Key is the world's largest collegiate honor society, with more than 400 chapters at colleges and universities around the world.

TROY is pleased to announce students who have been named to the Provost's List for the Fall Semester and Term 2 of the 2016/2017 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65 qualify for the Provost's List. The Fall Semester includes students at the Troy, Ala., campus. Term 2 includes students at TROY's campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Ala., along with locations outside of Alabama and online.

A total of 719 students were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University's fall 2016 commencement, compared to 595 in 2015 and 590 in 2014. Two ceremonies were held in the HTC Center on campus, one on Friday, Dec. 16 and one on Saturday, Dec. 17. Speaking to Coastal Carolina University's largest class of fall semester graduation candidates, commencement speaker Susan O'Malley advised the graduates to follow their passions. "If you follow you passion, you'll find your purpose," said O'Malley, who, following her own early goals, became the first female president of a professional sports franchise at age 29 when she assumed the leadership of the NBA's Washington Bullets (now the Wizards).

Elizabethtown has named 198 students to the College Honors Program. Since its establishment in 1999, the Elizabethtown College Honors Program aims to provide students who have excelled both in academic and extracurricular activities with enhanced learning opportunities. Those selected to participate in the program are encouraged to maintain high standards of scholarship, leadership and service worthy of their intellectual promise and demonstrate initiative.

The Dean's Award for academic excellence is awarded to students with a 3.30 or higher term average.
